Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson also known as Tove Lo was born in 29th of October 1987 in a city called Djursholm , Sweden. You might thought that her name is like ''Love Too'' but as Tove Lo tells the story, when she was 3 she and her parents went to a zoo. And little Tove was in love with a lynx. Which is called Lo in Swedish. So her grandmother started to call her Tove Lo. And she picked that name as her stage name.
When she was growing her parents who were very academic always wanted to Tove to be a successful student. She was a good student and had good grades. She has written a lot of stories and poems when she was in school. She won awards by her poems. But she always had interests in music. So Tove and her friends formed a band at only age of 11. While she was growing up she met with her lifetime friend Caroline Hjelt who became Icona Pop.
So she decide that she wanted to make music and went to a music school in Stockholm. When she graduated her parents wanted her to be something else since they were psychologist and a businessperson. But she knew that she couldn't make anything else than music.

In 2006 she began to writing songs with one his friends in school. They formed a rock vibe band. But Tove left the band and decided to go alone. She recorded songs at her home while she was doing live sessions to earn his rent money. She wrote lots of songs and her friend Icona Pop introduced her with a producer so she gave a demo of the songs she made in 6 months. He liked that songs and decided to work with Tove. So Tove started writing songs for famous artist. After working for a year she decided to sing and record songs for herself to. So she released her first single Love Ballad in 2012. Song didn't got lots of attention but she didn't gave up and came up with a song she has been working on for a long time which was called Habits. When she released that song in March 2013 she got lots of attention and song become an international hit. She featured in a song called Run On Love and many other songs.
After becoming famous around the world she made news songs and had LP's and then finally decided to make an album in 2014. Her first album was called Queen Of The Clouds. Albums reviews were very good and Tove was very happy what she has made. She released 4 singles from this album which was Habits, Talking Body, Timebomb, Moments. In 2014 she was the opener at Katy Perry: Prismatic World Tour's Australia leg. And at the end of the 2015 she went on her own tour in US and Europe.
When she finished her tour she didn't stop and started to work on her second album. Meanwhile she was featured at Nick Jonas' single Close from his album Last Year Was Complicated in 2016. Same year she was the opener for the Maroon V Tour. She was touring and recording song at the same time. At 4th August she released her first single from her new album. The song was called Cool Girl.
She released her second album Lady Wood in 28th of October a day before her birthday. Album was good but most of the reviewers didn't liked too much because album was only 12 songs (2 of them was interludes which were less than a minute) and didn't had same sound as her first album Queen Of The Clouds. But she said that Lady Wood is going to be a two phased album and she will release the phase 2 in later 2017.
She released her last single at 15th of November. She is now touring for her new album at Lady Wood Tour since the 6th of February 2017. And she is also going to touring besides the Lady Wood Tour, with Coldplay at their own tour called A Head Full Of Dreams Tour. She will be supporting them at the European Leg of the tour.
While her fans(including me) were waiting for her to drop his second phase of her album she had a song in Fifty Shades Of Grey Soundtrack.We'll see what will 2017 bring to Tove Lo's fans in next months.
